Two decades building companies, leading enterprise transformation, and running large technology organizations, while still rolling up my sleeves to design, build, and ship the work myself.

I've spent two decades at the intersection of strategy, product, and technology, founding and funding ventures, running large technology and delivery organizations, and modernizing the systems that businesses depend on.
At BNSF Railway, I led a 125-person global organization with a $20M annual budget, set the modernization strategy for a 300+ application portfolio, and delivered customer and employee platforms used by tens of thousands. As an entrepreneur, I've built companies from scratch and raised $8M+ in capital.
What sets me apart isn't any one thing. It's the blend. I set strategy and run the organization like an executive, I've carried real financial risk as an entrepreneur, and I can take an idea all the way to a shipped, working product as a builder. Two decades across IT let me speak the language of engineers, architects, and executives alike, and with today's AI tools I design and ship real software myself, including AI applications and agentic pipelines. That keeps my strategy honest, grounded in what can actually be built, not just what looks good in a deck.
Designed, specced, built, tested, and shipped a production agentic intelligence pipeline solo in five days, roughly 40,000 lines of code.
An agentic pipeline that scans 80+ sources across the AI landscape, separates signal from noise, and synthesizes it into strategic insights, recommended actions, and an automated weekly briefing that shaped the firm's AI strategy.
Delivered a new customer portal to 65,000 users and led the transformation of BNSF.com, consolidating fragmented legacy tools into one seamless digital experience while managing complex data migrations and system integrations.
65,000 users liveLaunched a new intranet for 40,000 employees and contractors, retiring legacy platforms and unifying the day-to-day digital experience across the enterprise.
40,000 employeesBuilt the product and modernization strategy for a 300+ application portfolio, defining product vision, roadmaps, build-versus-buy decisions, and the future-state architecture replacing legacy platforms, with execution underway at departure.
300+ applicationsLed a design thinking engagement that converted into a $4M application-build SOW plus a $150K enterprise IT assessment, which I ran end to end and delivered as a full report and an interactive web experience I built myself.
$4M SOW + $150K assessmentEarlier, deeper engineering and product builds at Power Service Products.
Built a Salesforce-based cloud app that replaced Excel-based fuel-testing capture, automating end-to-end customer report generation and centralizing all testing data to unlock cross-fuel reporting that was previously impossible.
Replaced mechanical tank-farm level devices with guided-wave radar gauges over Profibus to a PLC, fed a data historian and environmental software that quantified VOC emissions and auto-submitted air-permit compliance reports.
Directed a 2-year initiative to secure a Texas air permit: digitized 10,000+ rows of transactional data, modeled projected VOC emissions, and negotiated approval via a 600+ page TCEQ application.
This is a sample, not the whole portfolio. There's plenty more I'm glad to walk through.
